Hey, I'm Faizan

Software developer.Builder.Curious by default.

I'm a software developer who enjoys turning ideas into software that people can actually use.

I work across frontend, backend, APIs, microservices and cloud technologies — and I'm currently exploring where software engineering meets AI.

What I Build

I like working in the space between frontend and backend.

  1. Idea01 · why · sketch
  2. Code02 · interface · api
  3. System03 · services · data
  4. Product04 · someone uses it

That might mean building a React interface, designing a Node.js API, connecting services through microservices, working with databases, or figuring out how all those pieces should communicate.

I enjoy the entire journey.

Curiosity

I don't try to know everything.

I'd rather build something and learn from it.

  1. QuestionWhat if…?
  2. ExperimentTry it.
  3. FailIt breaks.
  4. Debugconsole.log everything.
  5. UnderstandOh. That's why.

Technology changes quickly. A framework changes. A new tool appears. An old problem suddenly has a completely different solution.

When something catches my attention, I prefer to build with it.

Sometimes the bug appears five minutes before release.

Sometimes it works on my machine.

Exploring AI

I'm not here to call myself an AI expert.

I'm hereto explore.

Technology is changing quickly, and AI is becoming another layer of software development.

I'm learning how modern AI systems work, experimenting with AI APIs and open-source models, and exploring tools across the JavaScript and Python ecosystems — and how developers can build useful applications around them.

Currently exploring

  • Python
  • PyTorch
  • scikit-learn
  • Hugging Face
  • Transformers.js
  • LangChain
  • ONNX
  • Ollama
  1. What happens when a normal web application becomes AI-powered?

  2. What does a backend look like when it works with models instead of only databases?

  3. How do we build reliable products around probabilistic systems?

How I Learn

Some experiments become projects.

Some become blog posts.

Some end up in a folder called
~/experiments/final-final-v2-really-final/

They all teach me something.

Why This Site Exists

Because developers forget things.

You solve a problem, spend three hours figuring it out, finally get it working…

…and six months later, you meet the same problem again.

So I started writing things down.

This site is where I document what I'm building and learning — projects, technical notes, experiments, discoveries, mistakes and solutions.

I'm also using it to document my journey into AI and machine learning as I explore how these technologies are changing software development.

Maybe something here saves someone else three hours.

Maybe I learn something while writing it.

Either way, it's worth sharing.

The loop behind this site:
  1. # the loop
  2. - [] BUILD SOMETHING
  3. - [] WRITE IT DOWN
  4. - [] SHARE IT
  5. > status: still learning

Still building.
